Read the site in Hindi
Use the language switch in the header to read pages in Hindi. Navigation, calculators, guides and the data pages are translated, and Insights articles are being translated in batches. Anything not yet translated stays in English.
Free tax calculators
The income tax calculator compares the old and new regimes with a slab-by-slab breakdown, rebate, surcharge and cess. There are also calculators for GST, HRA exemption and capital gains. Each one lists the assumptions it uses.
Public finance data
The data dashboard shows how the Union government collects tax, GST collections by month and by state, state finances and rankings, and Union expenditure. Every figure links to its official source on the methodology page.
